Our Story

Luke Weiser Jewellery originally began its journey as a custom fly rod shop, but over time, it has gracefully evolved into a complete and dedicated goldsmith shop. While I was passionately working on the fly rods, I made the decision to learn the intricate art of crafting the hardware for the rod handles, and that initial experience set me on a fascinating path toward becoming a skilled goldsmith. In order to further develop my capabilities, I sought guidance and was directed to the esteemed Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, where I aimed to advance and refine my skills in jewellery making. After successfully completing the classes, I noticed that friends and customers began to inquire if I could create more elaborate rings and other exquisite pieces of jewellery. As time progressed, my jewellery creations gradually began to overtake the production of fly rods. While I still have a passion for building fly rods and would gladly create one if requested, my primary focus has shifted to jewellery. All items of jewellery are meticulously handmade in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, by Luke Weiser and we strive to source as many of the materials as locally as we possibly can to support our community.
