I am very happy with this piece as it is the first piece of jewellery I have created that uses a gem that I also cut.

About a year back I started faceting gems and this one is also the first of my own designs for the cut.

I have made the setting that the tourmaline is in on a few occasions now, always looks fantastic.

The pearl is an Akoya pearl from Japan accented with a pink tourmaline, all set into 14 krt yellow gold.

Pearl is my birthstone and not sure why but I just love them.
